FCA confirmed the new Compass is a global SUV and it will be produced in 17 power train options in more than 100 countries around the world. The new Compass will be locally manufactured and launched in India in 2017. The Compass will be Jeep's entry level SUV for India competing against soon-to-be launched Hyundai Tucson
