Virat Kohli’s (142*) First Century in West Indies. Score of India vs West Indies Day 1
: India 302/4 after 90 Over.



Being the India Test Captain, Virat Kohli scored his very first century against West Indies on Thursday 22nd July 2016.

At the end of the day one India is now at 302/4 after 90 over’s of play. Virat Kohli is batting at 142 not out with Ravichandran Ashwin on the other end batting 22 not out. Apart from Virat, Shekhar Dhawan scored a ballistic 84 runs knock. On the contrary on Devendra Bishoo was the only bowler to count with 03 wickets.


Kohli reached the magical three figures off just 134 balls with 11 boundaries, his second fastest test century at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.
The India captain had already passed 3,000 Test runs earlier in his innings.
His numbers against West Indies were unimpressive till now. In 2011, when Kohli last played in the West Indies, he had scores of 4, 15, 0, 27 and 30. He has an overall average of 27.88 against the Caribbean’s and a poor 15.20 in the West Indies.
                                                           
A new age master batsman like him who has scored 11 Test hundreds in 41 matches, Kohli didn't score a century against West Indies in six Tests until 22nd of July 2016.Now Kohli’s now 3117 runs in test after 42 test matches with a modest average of 46.13. This is Kohil’s 12 test ton.
